The funds for this scholarship are provided by the income from a bequest made by the late John Britton, from Otaki. John was passionate about helping people and wished to make a contribution towards supporting research into mental health in New Zealand with a long term aim to provide research that is of direct benefit to New Zealand and its people. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide funds for individuals to undertake research at a New Zealand or Australian university in the area of mental health. Preference may be given to research into alcohol and drug addiction.

 The Judith Clark Memorial Fellowship is to help music graduates undertake a special short-term project that will have long-term benefits for their future professional careers as musicians.

Projects that will be considered by the selection committee include attendance at a reputable summer school or summer academy or auditions for a longer-term postgraduate study programme.

The selection committee will consider applications for other short-term projects and will assess them on their merits.

The Woolf Fisher Scholarships were established in 2003 by the Woolf Fisher Trust and are administered by Universities New Zealand – Te Pōkai Tara. Scholarships are worth approximately $70,000 a year for up to four years and are awarded annually to outstanding New Zealand graduate students for doctoral study at Cambridge University.

The Trust's main objective is that Woolf Fisher Scholars will become leaders in their fields and make a significant contribution to New Zealand.

The Sir Douglas Myers Scholarship is for undergraduate study at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge University, and is made available through the generosity of the late Sir Douglas Myers. The Scholarship provides an opportunity for students who have already distinguished themselves academically to attend one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Sir Douglas expressed the hope that graduates will return to New Zealand to become leaders in their chosen fields, to the direct benefit of New Zealand and its people.

The Cambridge Commonwealth, European & International Trust offers several prestigious awards each year to enable graduates of high academic ability to study at Cambridge University in Britain.

This scholarship has been established by Annette Campbell-White in memory of her mother, Patricia Pratt.

Funding for the scholarship is made available through the Kia Ora Foundation founded by Annette Campbell-White for educational purposes.

The LB Wood Scholarship is to enable New Zealand university graduates to study in any discipline at a university or institution of university rank in the UK.

The funds for this scholarship are provided by the income from a bequest made to the University of New Zealand in 1934 by Lawrence Berry Wood, a retired Inspector of Schools.

The funds for this scholarship are provided by the income from a bequest made in 1951 by Isabel Evelyn Spencer Watson to the University of New Zealand. The scholarship is a memorial to her nephew, Clement Gordon Watson.

The Girdlers' Scholarship is for undergraduate study at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University.  Girdler Scholarships aim to transform lives by offering opportunities not otherwise available.  With this in mind, we will try to give priority to scholars who will be the first generation in their family to go to university, and to those from less affluent backgrounds.
