LB Wood Scholarship
The LB Wood Scholarship is to enable New Zealand university graduates to study in any discipline at a university or institution of university rank in the UK.
The funds for this scholarship are provided by the income from a bequest made to the University of New Zealand in 1934 by Lawrence Berry Wood, a retired Inspector of Schools.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- be graduates of or graduating from a New Zealand university
- apply for the scholarship within three years from the date of their graduation
- have applied for or been awarded another postgraduate scholarship.
Value, tenure, and number of awards
The scholarship awards $3,000 per year for up to three years. Tenure begins in the same year the award is made. One scholarship is awarded annually.
